However we would like to set this straight. Nix is not disbanded or anything. Nix will still continue to make music.

Two of Nix's members are starting a side project called "Flight Of The Blowout Star". They will basicallly be playing some songs and will be exploring new genres. After all the complaints about those rainy days, finally the raining stopped but instead, the weather is so darn hot. Well, for the past few days, two of our members, Zal and Fique participated in a CS tounament @ RP(Republic Poly) along with 4 other friends. My god they had to wake up at 6 in the morn in order to make it to the venue by 9. That was actually nothing. What pissed them off was that despite reaching the place on time, the commencing of the game was delayed and would officially start at 12. At 12!!! The gaming was fun though eventhough they only won their first match against this team called 'Geng 909'. They defeated them with the score 16 - 5. They got humiliated in the rest of the tournament. I really mean humiliated. Hah. With scores like 16 - 0. LOL.

The new song is basically our beginning. How we felt when we first started to work on something original. When we first started, all of us was kind of confused and clueless what comes next, what do we do and stuff. This song can also be related to everyone's lives. Once again, we would like to say we are terribly sorry for making u guys wait for our song to be uploaded. I guess we will be re-recording our song since the person who is suppose to help us doesn't seem to keep himself on schedule. We are really really sorry and the next time we jam and recorded our song, we will immediately upload the song. This is not a joke. We are not taking you guys for a ride. So yah....Do not lose trust in us.

Hey guys! For those who just read this post thank you for visiting our site. For those who read it 3 days after the update date, then u have to keep updating yourself more often. Well, we know that we have said that we wanted to upload the song and let you guys hear it. But heres the thing. We have another rpoblem with the guy who is supposed to help us cut the song and upload. Not technical error or anything. Just that he cannot find the software to transfer the file from his cam to the computer. So...until he uploads it, our song won't be accessible to u guys. Sorry. So keep yourself updated ok guys. Love you all. Without your support we are nothing. Without you guys...we probably change our name.

We went to the jamming centre to record our song. We did a few runs and finally got the best one out of the 5 times we recorded. Evrything went well until we lost the song due to technical problems. We got a backup for it but in video format. Hopefully Azri(the guy who helped us record) knows his stuff and would be able to convert it to mp3 format. Wish us luck. Once the song is uploaded, u guys will be able to download the song via iSound player through our discography section.

Next, we will upload a 7 sec(or more) preview of our next song. Keep updating. Have a nice day guys!

Nailed our first song

During the hols, Zal, our lead guitarist got a call from Ahmad, our drummer about this song that Ahmad had written in commemoration of the upcoming PROM night. The song is basically about friendship and how we feel about our friends that are gonna leave us soon.

Goddamn our performance was great. Well.....we're not sure if its great to u guys but it sure feels great to us. Hope you all liked it. That performance sure boosted our confidence and gave us more crazy ideas for more crazy songs. Still tryin to record songs though to upload on our blogsite. So keep updating yourself by visiting our blogsite!....We know our site has been dead for quite sometime. We're gonna make sure that doesnt happen anymore. So keep coming!

Dyl left the band.

Dyl is leaving the band for real. Not because this band suck or anything. He's actually one of the peepz who loved the band the most .But. There are some things that we could nto agree to altogether. Everyone feels that they shud play a certain type of song bcos they claim that emo is running out of trend. They feel that our band should play a more diversed type of music like the coldplay etc. Dyl couldn't agree to this cos the reason he joined the band was to express his feelings in writing songs. And that will definitely turn out to be emo. So instead of harrassing everyone to change. Dyl feels that its best for him to leave so that there will not be anything that would stop them from playing the songs they want to play. No hard feelings though. I would like to thank evryone in the band. for all the great times we spent together, jamming,last minute preparations, and especially when we got up the stage and perform in front of the crowd. the experience is definitely irreplaceable. so thank you once again. and all the best. may you guys grow up and become a well-known local band someday. insyaallah. yours truly

As some of u may already know..our band is not performing for teachers day due to the lack of time..some of our members are involve in a lot of stuff..We might have just one last performance...we really look forward to it..and for those performing during teachers day we wish them good luck and have fun..thanks for supporting us..and btw we are not breaking up if u tot we are..

Wondering what it will be like 10 years from now....
Will we still be as close as we seem to be? Will my name mean the same to you? Will 'shut up' still not mean anything to you? Will you still remember the way i do up my hair?
I can't help but wonder... the people i hated,liked,loved,ignored... will they remain hated,liked,loved and ignored 10 years from now? I wonder, am i the only one thinking of this cos' everyone's busy with their own lives? I hope our friendship means as much as it does to me. Remember the 40+ pax bus we took on hari raya? The teachers' day and lunchtime concerts when you screamed for us? The most recent Batam(sory bintan) trip? All these will fill up the pages of our life's memories. So i decided to write a song about YOU. cos' you mean that much to me and i want you to know that you'll always be a friend i once had. So think, why hate when there's more to be liked? well, i was watching "ada apa dengan cinta" yesterday night actually and was impressed by their poetry. so i sat down and think about this girl i met a few years back. she's moved to woodlands now but one thing will still haunt my mind. the fact that i didn't tell her i liked her. i was too scared then, cos she's a very close friend of mine and im afraid tat if i tell her, i'll lose her cos mebbe she dun like me back. we're still friends till now though. so guys out there, don't make the same mistake as me.. it doesnt matter when, the last day of school,today,tommorrow, just go up to her face and tell her "hey, i like you"
